Maybe they put the stickers on wrong. Things like this happen, ordered mime without a scuff sheet, so I can't really comment on it. I don't really like the Ashes sticker anyways, I think it would have looked better on the back somewhere! If it was a pre made, I don't think they would have given you a Legend! Who knows anyways, as long as the bat feels good in the hands and plays well!

I am pleased after all the problems i had with the first one and to get one that is and made by Alex I had to wait to get it done but a bit off moaning and saying I was not happy was worth it I taps up very well much better than my first one in ways 2.10.3 so a tad over 2.10 feels very nice in the hand I always had Sorbo put under all my custom made gray nicks bats just feels nice the bat has got 9 nice grains and pings very well the bat picks up very nicely and very pleased with it so far so good

On my last couple of refurbs from GN they have put the stickers over the top of the pro face, maybe it's their new way of doing it?

They do this to stop you having it refurbed somewhere else - you'll lose the stickers trying to the the facing off.

Not shaw if I keep or sell yet its a very nice bat and I have had it next to a friends legend and the profile is almost the same the legend had a bit bigger edges but the face was no wear near as clean as the ashes bat and it seemed to tapped up better as well so happy days

It does really seem odd to me too that you want to sell it, especially after going through all the trouble just to get a bat made by Alex. It's just a waste of everyone's money, time and effort. If it's better than your mates Legend, I don't know why you would want to sell it. It's made by Alex, pressed beautifully (Assuming it's pressed similarly to mine), feels good in your hands, is pretty much what you asked for, which happens to be similar to a profile they would normally charge you over �400 for. Then again, I am guilty of shifting lots of gear too, but give the bat a shot - I'm sure you'll like it!

It feels very good in the hand mate but I am very fussy and yes I did want try try a bat out made by Alex but when you have ten top bats and more on the way it bit like lavers people say I never get rid but they always around for sale I think if your bat was not made by Alex you would not be best pleased I sorry if people think I am a winger but if your paying the money you deserve to get what you ask for

I think if you had spent the money out mate and you got a bat like I did first time round you would off been moaning end off it the advert said you would get a hand made bat by Alex and I did not get that so that's why I moaned but to say I did it to get a better bat is rubbish as I could off walked away with a plank so could off been a lot worse off

I wasn't making a point about you whinging cause you didn't get what you thought you were getting... That's fair enough... But to whinge about it till you get it replaced only just to sell it anyway.. Why even bother... This whole thread was about you not getting the bat you wanted so you complained till GN replaced it and you got what you wanted. Now you talk of selling it.... Just doesn't add up to me... My opinion that's all and it's your prerogative to sell

Surely people are used to people selling gear 10 minutes after they get it delivered by now!
But this bat isn't up for sale yet - it was only mentioned that it might be as it may not make it to top few bats!

I never been any different with any off my bats all I said is I might sell it if it does not match my other bats if its not going to be in my top 4 bats then I would rather someone else get the pleasure off using it
