Salix Pod 1 - VS - M&H T1 - Bag
« on: August 30, 2013, 09:15:59 AM »

Alright folks !! need some suggestion/comparison on these 2 bags - if someone has a first hand experience on both of the bags, that'll be perfect

I don't carry more than 2 bats, 2 gloves, just 1 set of pad/helmet, whites, P2 Strippers, bat care kit, spikes etc. - and i'm not a wicket keeper

Durability is of special interest as i'm based in Canada and won't be easy to replace (at least logistically)

Thanks in advance

Those are both massive bags for the kit you are carrying. You don't need anything bigger than the Pod Pro or M&H T2 for that amount. Both are just as durable as their larger brothers.

Had the salix pod one last season, big bag & will fit in all that you need. I wouldn't put the bats in the bat cave as I didn't think it was good enough so carried the bats. Quality wise fine although some stitching came undone. As for it being a stand up its not very good. Leans/topples over.

Now have the m&h T2 bag. Will fit all that in including bats apart from your cricket helmet. The bag stands up perfect. This is a big bag once the side pockets are full so bare that in mind. Quality wise, nowt wrong with mine although on another thread someone said there mates bag went back due to broken zip.

Pod one is fine for that I carry all of the above kit plus keeping gloves, pads and a few sets of inners with no issue.

Size wise both would do the job, seem to remember that the M and H bag doesn't have a separate compartment for bats which made me go for the Salix.

M&H T1 bag does, the T2 bag doesn't.

Can you fit 3 bats in the T1 bat sleeve ?
Been waiting to do this for a while now just haven't been able to make up my mind yet.
