kookaburra with fake grain sheet
« on: August 30, 2013, 10:52:37 PM »

I just bought a kookaburra viper pro 500 with the horrible grain sheets on them. I know what ur saying, it's a horrible cheap bat. However I get my bats on feel. I was in the shop and this felt so good in my hand. The higher middle is great as I play square. Beautiful light pick up and even though you can't see the actual bat, it pings better than my puma ballistic 5000,  a supposed higher grade bat. Do you think it's a better decision than a much more expensive bat not offering same feel.

Take the sheet off. Cut with a knife below the stickers to preserve them on the bat.

In most cases you will be pleasantly surprised...

I'm skeptical of tampering the bat. I have a history of ruining my bats because of my dodgy job. The bat was cheap though so I'll probably try it out.
