After a reasonably successful first season (including a ripper of a game in a losing effort this weekend), I'm happy with my progress just from learning 'on the job' so to speak. However, now there are no games I will be able to have time to knuckle down and work properly on my technique, drills etc. I will be mostly training on an indoor surface, with a bowling machine and the use of several different human bowlers at my disposal. I have picked up on a few useful drills from the iCrick app, and have also taken some good stuff from the videos featuring Matt Prior and Jack Russell, so have a pretty solid range of basics to start with. How often would the more experienced of you be looking to train during the winter, or are you glad of the rest after flinging yourselves around all season?
I think I progress diary/blog might be in order here...
