Don't line up the kids on the leg side when demonstrating the pull shot with tennis balls. I watched a pro fail his level one when setting up the drill like this!

Having seen you bounced out by a spinner recently, best not to demonstrate the pull yourself!

Serious one - with the bowling action, try not to over complicate things - when I did my level two one lad tried to cram about an hour of stuff into a five minute demo and made a bit of a plonker of himself.

not being rude or nasty but if your doing level 2 you should have been taught all this to pass you level 2 and common senes is a very big part in this

Just turn up and do it nice and simple, incredibly difficult to fail mate! Just stick to what they taught you on your modules, the assessors know your nervous and will give you a lot of leeway; just don't swear or make it unsafe ha!

About 10 and 15 mins to do one of the sessions listed.  Pull shot is pretty standard... get them to feed and hit to a fielder in 3's and finish with Lords game. Back foot drive will be slightly harder I reckon.

Back foot drive will be similar to pull shot, just rearrange the positions. Feeder needs to feed from kneeling, underarm, low to high. Can progress onto bounce feed if time (put it in your plan but with only having 15 mins no need to do it). The asseser will be mainly looking at your breakdown of the skill. Use about 3 key coaching points (pre-shot, contact and follow through) and just use shadowing and demos to introduce each point before letting them all have a go. Also as well as using a fielder use cones as a target. If you really want to you could ask the kids where they think the target should be for the shot. Also use lots of questioning and dint just say 'this is how you do it...'. For example if your coaching point is where the bat follows through to, shadow the shot, then ask them to watch where the bat finishes, then shadow the shot again (holding your shape at the follow through to make it really obvious) then get the kids to feedback, they should get it, then validate it by asking why.

Oh and when the kids are practicing try to stop one of them to do some one on one coaching. Make it positive. Even if its a minor thing try and use some shaping. Remember the praise burger! Eg ' you get into a great position to play the shot, however if you start transferring your weight towards where you want the ball  to go then you'll be smashing these for 4'.

And get the active early and for as long as possible, don't take too long talking with lots of time standing and watching you!

Sounds like you're going to need to go and perfect your pull shot before you go do this  .

In all seriousness , I think blue summed it all up above. One thing I would say is with only 15 mins don't try and put too much detail into how to play the shot , a lot of the kids will naturally play a kind of pull shot when the ball comes towards them , and it shouldn't be difficult to get it look right for them.

As well they are looking for you to be safe tell the kids if you say stop they stop if go past out off bounds cone and so on and just relax pull shot off the stump then bounce feed if kids are up to standerd sure your be fine
