Looking at the kook kahuna range I gather the bubble grading is as follows.

Bubble players = kahuna players (limited edition/ G1+)
Bubble legend = kahuna 1250 (G1)
Bubble star = kahuna 800 (G2)
Bubble power = kahuna 400 (with a 'pro shield cover') (G3/4)

Would that be correct?

Although the 2014 kahuna range seems to go,

Jake, there will definitely be an order coming your way for the Bubble (I assume the Legend is Grade 1?  Can't justify stretching to the players' before Xmas!)

Agree the Bubble softs and the Impulse softs are amazing - there's a decision to be made there....

That is about right in terms of the grading for the Bubble. I'm not sure i would class any Kahuna 800 i have in stock as grade 2 though, lovely bats. Bubble Star is £150, whereas a Kahuna 800 is £230.

Also there is a Kahuna 1250 and a 400 in the 2014 range too.

That is a typical example of a Kahuna 800 i have in stock right now, i've got about 5 of them all very similar.

Players are listed as the very best willow Kook has available, 1250's are listed as 'test match quality' willow and 800's as 'professional quality' willow.

So it is all very cloak and dagger as they don't put a number on what 'professional quality' means.

Thats where i think some confusion has arisen. A Bubble Star is £150, whereas a Kahuna 800 is £230.

The bat above is more likely to be a good example of what a Bubble Legend will be like.

Although you are right, the Star is listed as professional quality willow.

It is probably a case of Kook changing their grading boundaries/definitions.

Totally agree, the Uk bubble is much, much better than the Aussie version, which hasn't really tempted me at all.

I also really like the impulse colour scheme.

Interesting that Ricky Ponting still being used to endorse the Kahuna range. I thought AB de Villiers might have been used since Pontings retirement.

Have to agree with others, the Bubble looks lovely!
