That is a typical example of a Kahuna 800 i have in stock right now, i've got about 5 of them all very similar.

Players are listed as the very best willow Kook has available, 1250's are listed as 'test match quality' willow and 800's as 'professional quality' willow.

So it is all very cloak and dagger as they don't put a number on what 'professional quality' means.

If my Bubble Legend arrives and looks like that Jake I will be really happy.

Oh boy it looks like its going to be a bubble vs powerspot debate for me for the next few weeks.
That impulse does look nice though and be interesting to see a round edge bat from kook.

By round edge, do you mean round face? Since the flat face fad has come in, Kook have always had at least one round face bat, this year it is the Recoil. In all honesty the Impulse isn't a million miles from the recoil, new graphics aside.

I'll do my very best mate :)

Hi Jake, I know I have enquired about you selecting a powerspot for me, but the bubble looks ace, what is the pick up like on both the bubble and powerspot?

Thanks

I've sent you a PM mate, pickups are hard to judge from sample bats. But the actual bats we will stock will be in a range of weights and pickups.

Did anyone see the pads that Michael Carberry was using today in the second ODI?

The colour scheme at the back seemed to be orange and turquoise like the Impulse, rather than the colour scheme of the Recoil. Might be mistaken, but they looked the same colour as the impulse.

Personally i really like the Impulse's colour scheme, then again I am a Miami Dolphins fan!  :D

I'll definately be having a look at the bubble range for next season. Love the retro branding, brings back memories of Alec Stewart.
Looking forward to seeing more photos.

must say i am liking the kooks recently, and i agree with the comment of them going down the GN look with the retro branding unlike GM, even though i like GM the original style is so much nicer looking forward to getting in the shop when its released.

Interesting that Ricky Ponting still being used to endorse the Kahuna range. I thought AB de Villiers might have been used since Pontings retirement.

Have to agree with others, the Bubble looks lovely!

AB is on the verge of signing for Spartan.

Kook keeping stuff and luggage for UK 2014

Note the long cut gloves lower down the range, the 750. These will be very popular i think.
