Grip number is entirely dependant on the handle in my opinion, and also the situation the bat is used in.

Most of my bats have one grip. My Laver has a handle like spaghetti though, so it has 2 grips.

I have a Vitas Cricket Lion Roar which i use exclusively for T20 bunting and sixes tournaments, ie see ball hit ball, no time for feel or finesse. This has a thick handle anyway, but i have two very thick grips on it, picks up much lighter as a result. And as i am only batting for a relatively short time, it doesn't matter too much that i can't really hold it to play proper shots, just swing from the hip.

Tried two this year, not really noticed much difference tbh other than it feels like I use less bottom hand. No idea if that's why or not though

i noticed the same.. i think its because it takes less force to grip more of the bat, so the hand is naturally more relaxed

As said, depends on the thickness of the handle for me. Sometimes one feels right, sometimes two and some times one thin and one thick... I think I've become too fussy!

I was using 1 grip till an year back, I was pretty wristy at that time. Since last year I am using 2 and if needed 3 grips on a bat and feel much more relaxed and my hands sustain longer periods of play without tiring.

It's all about the white spiral, I use one and a half spiral grips and I find that the most comfortable so far.

I find the gray nicks Sorbo foam under the grip is really nice and gives that feel off two or more grips
