Apologies if this has already been posted somewhere, but that's some serious footwork and agility there!

Good shout on that. I love the disbelieving look back by Pereira as he's leaving the field as well, just reinforces what a great catch it was.

I still think that the Sarah Taylor one in the ashes is better.

Sounds like the place erupted when he held it. 99% of the stadium must've thought it had passed him.

Good take though it is, it's not that spectacular.  He was always travelling towards the ball, it's not as if he was going one way then had to dive the other.  It's just a very good piece of anticipation, just like Sarah Taylor's catch.
For me, the best catches to see a keeper take are the ones where he's going down leg but has to dive well over to off, A La Matt Prior getting Haddin in the 5th Test

absolutely no way you should take any credit away from this piece of work - it's outstanding. watching in slow motion he's a good 4 feet off the ground and takes it when it's already past him. great work.

Agreed. I don't think there's that much anticipation involved tbh, just really great footwork. As a comparison, anyone who saw yesterday's ODI would have seen Matthew Wade miss one at full stretch because he didn't move his feet at all before diving for the ball. Just one step would have seen the ball straight into his left hand.

Yeah I noticed how Pollard focused on himself, not the gun catch.

I suppose its payback for Pollard given some of the ridiculous catches he takes that the bowl celebrates!
