Puma 2014
« on: September 12, 2013, 03:57:02 PM »

We had a chance to see the new 2014 range from Puma today and were very impressed.

The new bats include one without any concave to the back, which gives the bat a very balanced feel and with the thick edges, a very intimidating look too. The new stickers as you would expect from Puma are in chrome and use some new colours not seen before on any of their previous ranges. One thing in paticular we liked, was that the top model in the bats comes with white stickers - just so that everyone can see from a distance that you have the best one!

Pads and gloves all have new styling and offer great protection at some very afforable price points. Our favourite is the new top of the range wicket keeping glove which is an all black design that looks really stylish.

Overall a smart looking range with Puma due to release images in October.

Puma requested we not release any images as they are still introducing the range to their stockists.

Actually they have one paticular pad that has a traditional design but the knee section has a totally modern twist that looks really cool. Overall, its moving towards the traditional look, which is something Puma have never done before.

The materials used to make the pads etc are the latest and this basically means top levels of protection with amazing comfort. As you can tell, we were impressed!

Are they still going to have some pads in the new range with just two straps?

They all had the 3 strap design. No Flex-Tech this year...
