Not a bad looking bat. I quite like the colour scheme also.

Kudos seems to be a somewhat popular name for new bats. Bradbury has brought out the Kudos for the new Aussie season..

That bat is sex!

Although the stickers beg me to ask the question, is it gonna be another £1000 bat? Or mayne a baby one, the low low price of £800?

The profile is nothing special by today's standard, that's true. But it is a more modern profile for Newbery. And I'm not a massive fan of the stick design.

Having said all that I have a soft spot for Newbery bats and they are always pressed very, very well. So this is definitely on my radar. :)

A lot of other bats are pressed well as Newbery bats...

Looks like the same colourway as the vantage emerald.  Nice shape and understated graphics the way the newbery should be (bring back the zeus!)

Popped into the newbery shop at hove this morning and had a play around with a few bats, picked up the kudos and it was love at first sight. Picks up very nicely, quite similarly to the GT. stickering was beautiful. Available in a fortnight, Pre-ordered mine already.

So wouldn't need much footwork to use it then  :D .It looked quite Asian shaped , a tad higher middle than the new shaped Mjolnir. Hopefully not much concave to the profile.

I've got a sponsorship from newbery, and the guy said that it'll be only about a tenner more expensive than the thruxton. So I'm guessing it'll be a similar price.

I was in there on Friday, and saw they had a couple in the office.  They do look lovely and one of them had the best pick up I've felt for a long time.

I'm loving the stickers coming out these days.  It looks like most batmakers are turning the corner when coming to styling.  Less is more.  I'm sure BlankBats would agree!

I'm noticing more and more that brands are placing more time and effort in their stickers/decals.  It seems to be increasingly important to stand out on the shelf and catch the eye.  Newbery probably took the hint with the way the Tomahawk was received, which is an excellent bat, and a lovely shape, but not very well liked purely because of the stickers! Good to see them not making the same mistake with the Kudos!

Any sign of Bradbury in the UK for 2014?
