Bedroom brands like this come and go every few months.

If something seems too good to be true, then it most probably is.

It is easy to claim a bat is UK made, it is another thing to prove it.

Claims to be able to provide a custom designed set of stickers on an individual bat?! I don't know of any sticker printer who would work on such a low minimum without charging a premium. A decent set of stickers can cost around £10, that is when ordered in bulk. Lets assume £10 though, is a grade 1 bat really going to cost £65? There are plenty of us on the forum who know how much a grade 1 cleft costs....

I would probably take a miss, there's no guarantee, also your bats are pretty special. Is it someone on the forum?

I think its a sign that most decent names in the industry are taken when people are naming their companies "Virus Cricket"

Ask him if he can send you a trial bat which you will then return and do a full review he can use for his customers.

I have just asked him about it and I see what he has to say I don't mind testing it for him  ;)

Hi all,
I am Lewis Faulds. 16 years old and still at school. I am the founder and attempting to be owner of Virus. The name was inspired by my chemistry teacher who wrote the virus on every bat he has ever owned - thus the link.
I was duped into the bats of keeping, who offered me a grade 1 bat at £80. I thought that this was their trade price. While on eBay, I was looking for a hammer fyrre and was about to buy Simons until my loving sponsors at kookaburra decided they'd renew my deal. In short, virus is still a dream. In all honesty, I wanted the honest opinion of people like yourself, who know far more than me about company's. I plan on getting bats from SM in India now, as they offer grade 1 at a realist price. If any wants to give me some positive/ negative comments about my plans let me know. My bats aren't amazing. I've only had two samples from companies that'll remain nameless but they were ok. With the exception of a CA custom I received.

Thank you,
Regards
Lewis

So you're getting bats from India, yet claiming they're pressed in Kent??

What is false advertising...

I think he was trying to get his bats from keeping sports but I don't know off anyone who can knock out a grade one for 65 pounds just think he needs to do a bit off homework before going into the Indian market  ;)
