One to one coaching
« on: September 18, 2013, 06:54:02 PM »

I am thinking of doing some one to ones this winter for non club members at the indoor nets we use but not sure how much to charge?!  How much do folks think would be reasonable for an hour to include a bit of video analysis and a CD if those clips? Thanks

It all depends on your cost off the net and your time and If your level two or three as you can charge a bit more i would be around the 20 pounds mark and extras like the cd analysis .but it's better to have regular guys that will pay 20 pounds a week than one who will pay 30 if you know what I mean

I think we would have to charge £30 because of the cost of the net hire. We use the proper high speed cameras for quite a lot of the video work using Quintic but not sure we will get much take up at that price!

I am a ukcc level two coach and I have been charging ten pounds per hour as I have three regular guys it helps when I get them all in at the same time so you can show them different problems in other people's game and they do the dame thing then after the session I plug the video camera  in to tv and show it back to them this has worked very well for me but with this new coaching pathway coming in it a road to no wear as makes it hard to get to level 3 I am club coach award and modules working in schools but I was wondering if they would make use do a conversion coarse like the old rover set up

Sorry -not quite sure which level you have got to!  Have you done the six workshops after level two?
They will still give credit you for what you have done so far, but when we moved to ukcc there was a course to "upgrade" the old level one.

Do you coach any representative squads?
