On the topic of Spartan, I thought they were a breath of fresh air.  There are lots of murmurings about whether or not they are the next Woodworm/BoomBoom, but I get the distinct impression that they are here for the long haul.

Matt Prior was saying that they have listened to his feedback more than any other brand that's sponsored him, and he is especially impressed with the flex on the handles on their bats, something which the brand owner takes great pride in.

I also thought their softs were very impressive across the board - possibly the most comfortable gloves of all on show, and loved the attention to detail in their bags, and the quality of the materials used to make them.

Their stand was, by far, the busiest throughout the day, and the one I found myself coming back to time and again.  As Jake said, they are very approachable and felt I could chat to them as mates, which is more than can be said for some others.

The bat shapes did vary a little, and this is my only real concern, but I was impressed with all the pick-ups and finishing etc.  For me, the stickers aren't the only thing to like about their bats...

New Balance CK4040AR bowling boot - comes in a single colour trim, sizes UK 6.5 to 14.5 (exc. 13, 14) ... in our experience with NB running shoes, they tend to be a slightly small size.  So for example, size UK 9 = US 9.5, compared to say Asics size UK 9 = US 10

Am I right in saying those bowling boots are quite low cut on the ankle unlike higher bowling boots?

Champ as in the guys who make golf/baseball spikes. Not the Meerut based manufacturer.

I have all the photos on a Flickr file, but haven't been able to work out how to convert them into JPEGS in a simple way, hence the delay in the pics.  Think this will take a while yet, sorry!
