Just spoke to Paul and I will be working in the shop on that day to help out, so looking forward to meeting you all, cricket aficionados after my own heart! The date works perfectly, my shoulder should just be better post operation to start playing properly!

As for my kit, well where do we start? I have a lot of Mars Cricket gear (they were my sponsor last year) and some old GM Kit (sponsor for two years) as well as a couple of bits and bobs.

I will try and make a trip down to Gray Nics before this date as I will be signing my contract with them and picking up my new gear for the season, so whilst my bat may not be knocked in for this day, I would be happy to bring it along for people to look at and have a feel, but sorry about no hits on it! I suspect I won't even have hit with it yet!

Hi - have we agreed a date/time? I can potentially do the 5th (not the 12th) - but wanted to know what sort of timings to work out to see whether on not I can commit...

I believe we have agreed the 5th and a start time of mid to later afternoon (please correct me if I'm wrong Paul).

Tall Paul is anxious to get the booze in, and Vitas seems to want some porn - but don't let that put you off, you should come and help me carry all of Tim's bats.

Sorry to be a gay pirate here, but neither of mine will used for hard ball nets maybe soft ball through a machine. Only reason is that I have not even used them yet and will be gradually breaking them in with gentle throw downs.

I think 7/7.30.  The shop closes at 6.30, then need to allow for kicking out, locking up, travel time etc. On that note, I will most likely book a couple of big taxis as it's a fair walk to The Oval (15 minutes), and likely to be a cold evening...

That's assuming most of the attendees are coming via public transport? If not, lifts would be very gratefully received! :-)

Providing I stay sober and can get away from the party early enough, I will drive.  Although coming through tooting and balham up to your neck of the woods, a drink may be in need!
