My new 2lb13 Blankbat
« on: September 25, 2013, 04:38:30 PM »

Hi All,

Just received my new Blankbat through the post. It was very competitively priced at £145 posted and as 2lb13 bats go, has an extremely light pickup with 44mm edges, a 65mm spine and 10 grains on its face. It looks like an absolute gun. Hit it a few times with a mallet and the ping is excellent! I put it against my other bats, just so people can compare. Enjoy!

Definitely a worthy bat! Very pleased!

44mm edges, a 70mm spine and the bat is only 2.13?! That must be some super light cleft!!

It's a collection which will soon be listed on eBay as getting rid of everything I don't need.

Though have another 12000 coming.

Ps. Don't be fooled by the Newbery and CCC stickers. Ones a grade 1 MsR and the other a RNS Larson!

very very hard to make a bat to those dimensions with a standard sized cleft..... Are you sure its 70mm spine height?

Massive apologies.

My very rough measurement of 70mm was wrong. The spine height, taken with calipers (I'm that geeky!) is 65mm.

I am not sure what they have done over there at Blank Bats but the thing is absolutely superb!

Really cant fault it on cost and performance (Off a mallet anyway!) alone. Very pleased

The 2lb13 I have picks up extremely light - if the others are the same, you may get away with a 2lb10 or 2lb11.

Can't recommend them highly enough. I'd happily buy another like this in 2lb9 as a match bat!  :)
