Grade 2 or 3
Hard to say how it will play, but it does look nice mate.

What is it (just out of interest)?

Grade 2?

Why is there a larger circle lower down on the blade? Wasn't a "special offer" sticker In a sports direct sale is it?

2/3 because of the pin knots.  Probably goes like a rocket

I don't claim to know anything about grading wilow, but the grains are nice and straight and there's lots of them.  Will the pin knots make that much difference.

I am going to stick my neck out and probably get shot for saying this but is this Grade 1, 2 at the minimum.

A small couple of knots right on the middle, that's the sort of thing bats get graded for.

Grade 3 for me, Had one that looked similar and went like (No Swearing Please).

If the heartwood and knots were not there, that would be one lush bat!
Grains look gorgeous!! But the heartwood aside, the knots drop the grade down!
Heartwood drops it down if you go by the grading guides too!

But I assume this is "graded on performance" and not on cosmetics?

looks a lovely cleft to me and feel that it will play really well.. the small cosmetic blemish does not diminish the nice straight grains.
