I think it will be available online as well as on their big stores. The nearest one to us is in Taunton.

Not much cricket gear in Taunton Sports Direct.

Bats look decent them softs look horrendous bar one of the pair of gloves
I agree with you, the only softs i like was their top end pads and gloves(ultimate). Their V12, 6 and 5 are all made in UK and look decent

40mm edges is impressive for 2.8 but how much is the spine height ..... it looks like it is just and edge and no meat on the back???

V5 looks an impressive piece of bat.

But I am thinking as per garretts comment, it may be the angle of the bats/camera that make some bats look larger and others not so much?

That V5 is similar in profile to my B3 bespoke...

I do like that Slazenger have gone back to the 'V' on their bats - It really is what defines them and makes them stand out.

Do not like the softs at all - any of them

I don't have the bat so can't tell you the height of spine but if i remember correctly there was defintely some wood on the back hence i liked it and asked him to reserve it for me

"why is the World so unkind?".... These are questions that we have been debating for eons and are not likely to answer in the space of a few lines of Forum text...  ;)
In the meantime Mo_town, get yourself some decent broadband width and settle down and enjoy the ride!

I love the V100 TAS bat - I can see myself owning one of these one day - if only to simply see how it goes. I don't know anyone who has one and I'd love to know how they go - and whether the inserts make any noticeable difference. While I am not a fan of most of the softs, I didn't mind the black/yellow pad and glove combination.
