In Australia we have an e41, no oblivion in the name, so not sure if same bat. Huge bat with brilliant pick up. Deadweight is standard, bit when you pick or up its a feather.to achieve this, quite a bit of concaving was done, so stay clear of that's not your thing.  It was my friends who had the mid range 750i version, so can't comment on players bat. Can't go wrong with this bat, looking to pick one up myself once the cash is flowing.

I saw these at the trade show and they are available for pre-order on our website. From what I could tell, it's basically a fusion of the Oblivion and e41, which means huge edges and a mid-low middle. The pick-up is decent - not the lightest in the Gray-Nicolls range, but certainly not the heaviest. Hope this helps!

I have had a go at one of these due to club contacts, and you can get them, if you ask, to  about 2lb 8, however the pick-up won't set the world on fire. However, they are BIG bats for the weight, as with most of GrayNics range this year. Having netted with one I can say that the shape works quite nicely, nice middles etc- and that was just a sample bat, so I think a proper LE or similar should be a quality purchase. The thing I have found is that the bigger companies make bats, the worse the pick-up gets despite the weight due to their size... There must be science somewhere to back that up.

It is set to be a HUGE year for Gray-Nicolls & the E41 is part of that success.

Will get the softs uploaded to the site within the next few days, Aidan. Like the bats and bags, they should be available from November...
