Robert Pack Cricket bat
« on: September 29, 2013, 11:01:58 AM »

Took a gamble with this eBay purchase (sold as used), as I've always wanted a RPC. The bat arrived a few weeks ago and she has some very nice straight grains that go all the way through the toe. The profile has a very long low middle, which should be great for driving on low bouncing wickets, but there's a far amount of concaving (which might not be to everyone taste).

The Jury is still out until my indoor season and winter nets start, but my first impression is a good one.

I thought that I'd upload some pictures for you :)

One of my club mates moved to us from Buckingham Town CC and he swears blind by Rob Pack.

He has a pair of the Blue Room bats and they go really well (Though he's a number 10 and bats rarely) - but won't let anyone else use them because he rates them so highly.

If I had money for a limited edition - I definitely would!!

Can we see a toe shot to see the amount of concaving?

Sure. My camera is out on a shoot today, but I'll try and get one with the mobile later today.

Bat looks lovely.

Would be my favourite stickers too if it didn't have the quaver on it!

How sexy does that bat look?!! I love everything about it - the grain, the stickers, the profile. You have to be happy with that one.

My winning bid was for £145, which I was pretty pleased with :)

So you're the lucky one mate, I was planning to bid and asked seller a question and was waiting for it to be answered to bid on it, unfortunately didn't receive the reply in time. Enjoy the stick, looks great and I love those stickers.

:) I was pretty surprised that there wasn't more interest in it. I think that I was the only bidder!
