Still quite a distance from London to Uzi, though? In fact, it's probably a similar distance from Liverpool!
It's a 1 hr train from london to swindon i think? Liverpool is almost 200 miles away from swindon
.
I can pick u up from the swindon station if that helps
Thanks asad, that would be massively helpful!

You are correct from London to Swindon is about 55 mins and if u buy ticket well in advance it is fairly cheap.
If anyone else needs to be picked up from the station that will be no problem at all.
I think we should aim to be here from 10 am onwards

Probably a bit closer, but just thought there may be a more direct route for you than coming in to London first?

A word of caution.....there is a large fashion outlet village in Swindon!
So if you're spending a few days around Swindon, then between Asad's shop full of amazing willow for you, and the outlet village full of amazing designer shops for your missus, expect it to be an expensive few days!!  :(

I was in Gloucester with work so headed off to Swindon for a couple of hours to meet Asad.

I was welcomed with a nice cup of tea and chocolate biscuits,  then given a tour of the bats in the shop!! I couldn't stop grinning, everywhere you placed your eyes they landed on top class willow!!
I wanted to look at some of the heavier newbery's & gn's in stock. Eventually I got it down to 2 bats, a B52 SPS & new shape Mjolnir Players (one of the ones Asad pictured last week) I eventually picked the B52 which I'm over the moon with!!

Still fancy the Mjolnir as well though!

If anyone's in the area I highly recommend calling in!!

Thanks Asad

Thank you for your visit Jon, I believe the bat you selected was the better out of the 2.
