Or indeed any news on a competition with an announced draw date?

Can't be that difficult to draw a name and keep the interest bubbling eh Ian - all goes towards building the brand!

I entered the competition and I still aint heard anything - now I cant help but start having negative thoughts towards this brand now.  I gave my time to help them out and they have not given anything back to any of us.

I am still interested in a pair of cricket boots due to my big feet and the fact that Shooze do big sizes, but I'll be wanting them soon to use in nets so hopefully Shooze will be ready for then.

Spoke to Ian and he basically said: following the answers from the questionnaire shooze have decided to redesign their range. We apologise to those of you who wanted to buy some now.
Everyone who entered the competition can receive £25 off of a CustomBATS custom made cricket bat. Whoever s name gets drawn out of the hat will also win a choice of either CustomBATS batting pads or gloves.

Dissapointing to here this.......and that £25 off voucher will not be enticing me, "All of our cricket bats are handcrafted in England by our master batmaker" - when in fact we have been told some of them are made in India......I'm not overly impressed by custombats entry into the cricket market.......could have been fantastic but i'm somehow left feeling it could have been so much more.
The website is not complete, everything you see on there is dummy text yet to be edited. All bats will be handcrafted in England. However the CustomBATS LE bats were made in India, Pete Hosk seems happy enough with his.

Fair enough Leo and i take on board what you are saying - However, i would just do things differently thats all - I wouldn't offer people a pair of shoes if the shoes hadnt even been produced, i might wait untill they are ready. The website is looking good though.

Agree with you here, for the record I'm not involved in Shooze or the customBats brand, I just administrate the forum.

Draw has been done and number 6 entry was the winner and has been contacted. e-code for Vouchers of £25 will be sent out in January.

Thank you for everyone that took part, after analyzing the data we decided that we needed to redesign our whole range. Anyone not totally happy with a voucher off a bat, we are prepared to offer a £25 voucher off a pair of shooze (these will not be retailable until Nov 10
