I've tried on the MC Ltd Edition batting gloves - very good quality, very comfortable, good materials, felt great to me.

Haven't seen the pads in the flesh

Right, need something cleared up please. Ltd Edition gloves - are they the sausage finger or split finger gloves? In Aus I've seen pics mixed up on a few websites. Prices here are a little OTT, will no doubt refrain from buying much until I come home.

I wouldn't be too surprised if their supplier was Sareen based on that reason. Very keen to see what the pads are like in the flesh, not convinced by MC 1000 pads' stock images. SVR ones aren't looking too shabby mind

No problem - the MC Ltd Edition are the sausage fingers, the MC 1000s are split finger.  There's confusion in the UK as well - Pro Direct listed them the other way around.  If you google Spartan 2013 cricket range, you get the pdf catalogue and they are listed as I have mentioned.

I've always used the pro level Kook gloves and found the Ltd Edition to be on a par in terms of quality and comfort.  I've also tried the 1000s on and didn't find them as comfortable...

Thanks for clearing it up mate. Oh really? That's a shame as I was thinking of matching 1000 gloves with the LE pads. When exactly did you try the gloves?

I ordered both pairs a couple of months ago - personal preference though; I much prefer the sausage finger glove.  If you're a split finger fan, they're a great glove; the materials seem very similar.  There really isn't much in it in terms of quality...

You won't be disappointed in the quality or feel - materials are as good as the top end Kook gloves, in my opinion...
