Should i get a custom ce from chris or a 2010 gunn and moore?
Is the standard of bat the same?
Are handmade bats better?

if you want a custom bat, then go for CE. With GM you cannot specify your requirements in terms of pick-up, grains, middle poistion etc. you will have choose and buy what is available with the retailer(s).

With CE you can talk to Chris and discuss what you want and get the best advise and a great bat.

Not to mention it a CE will be a much cheaper and at least the same quality (in terms of its play and performance).

I feel a hand made bat is always better than a machine made one as the bat maker can do more justice to the piece of willow when making it himself rather than throwing it into the machine.

At the end GM will charge you for the brand name and all the money they pay for endorsements and advertising. CE will not have any such overheads and quality will be top notch.

gm. You'll get a better choice, whereas if you get a CE and buy it, when you havn't even seen it or picked it up, you're screwed

Your paying a lot more for the grade of willow with GM, to only pay wages of their sponsored players.

quite a unwanted and uncivilized comment.

Have you seen CE bats in person?

a top grade bat (made the best looking and playing willow) would cost the maker not more than �70-�90. They sell these to retailers for almost �170-�190 and the retailers make their �70-�90 on it.

So in effect you are paying more to cover the players wages, brand and huge overheads rather than the bat itself.

CE any day my friend has a gm hero l.e and my ce is so much better and so much cheaper tbh gunn and moores look nicer tho

Wise choice. You can get 2 CE for the price of just one GM or one CE bat and some top of the range softs to go with it.....
