Michael Clarke and Heartwood.

Ive just seen this posted on Instagram by a member of spartan, Kunal Sharma, who has said that these are Michael Clarke's stickered up bats. I was very interested to see that every one of the bats is almost half heartwood. What are your view's and pinions on this, why does he like it?.

Kunal is the owner of Spartan.

I would be amazed if they were Clarkes actual bats, he hasn't shown a preference for lots of heartwood before, to my knowledge at least.

You can see, even after the refurb that he still uses the same bat.

Why has all the wood delaminated only from the middle of his bat and no where else? That has never happened to any of mine before!  :-[

In an old kit video when they showed the Aussies MC was really finicky about his bats and they all had perfect faces. No heartwood whatsoever. They were slazenger bats but I hardly think he will have changed. The only person worse than him and hussey was Ricky Ponting. Apparently they all used to hide Pontings favourite bats just to wind him up ha ha.

2 things I have against this. #1, clarke is a perfectionist with his kit, and should hate any heartwood. #2, the stickers don't look right. it looks similar to those on the condemned fake spartans our friend Jason Mellet uncovered. however, i could be wrong.
