Here's a couple of bats going out one supreme 2-8 extra long blade and a gold sovereign at just under 2-8 off down to Devon.

Both hit the ceiling when I knocked the ball up on them, always a good sign

Superb looking bats Paul!

I am very happy with mine so far. If these are anything like mine you are going to have some very happy customers!

Every time I see new aldreds, the two supremes I bought come out of the box for a mallet and tap up. Superb quality from paul. Roll on winter nets.

Gold sovs are £175 and they are great value for the quality of the bat too. If your interested just get in touch

That Sovereign looks a cracker Paul. Question: does it have slightly more bow than your usual bats or is that the camera playing tricks?

Possibly slightly more still not huge bows but I do tend to get a very slight variation in different clefts to be honest I press till I get the feel I want so some need more some less if you get my drift

Must admit I prefer the minimal bow myself.  ;)

Its when you start hitting and it just feels better than last time (although its only been a day) roll on summer.

I have to agree I like a minmal bow in a bat not a fan of huge bows. I actually feel it effects the feel of a bat if the bow is too pronounced. But that's just how I feel having used and tried different bats in all forms of cricket over the years. And luckily I was a good bat picker and used to get asked to pick my mates bats for them

Interesting to see an extra long blade weighing in at only 2.8. How do you avoid adding an ounce or two to the weight when dealing with a longer blade? Is it just extra concaving? Lovely looking bats yet again btw.

Well try and find the lightest cleft you can really and knowing where to take the weight out for me. I don't think they ever really look the same as they are elongated profiles obviously and always a challenge to make for me to keep the bat pleasing to the eye I think. But then other makers may say differently.

One day I will treat myself to an Aldred. They all look so pretty I would feel awful for ruining it with my excuse for cricket.
