Spartan really seem to be going all out in terms of the calibre of players they contract to endorse their equipment, its hard to see them making much of a profit considering the amount it would cost to sponsor Clarke, Gayle and now presumably Dhoni.

I'm most likely to agree it may be a one-off game use.  I'm not aware of any other Indian player using Spartan bats (maybe ST has just signed with them?  ) and they have his preferred colour grips on.

I wouldn't think he would sign long term with anyone as it would surely affect his earning potential from other endorsements, wouldn't it?
