Yes they go fantastically well. I like them in a blade and I do allow the odd little one to go into players grade if it fits the bill as I think they sometimes enhance the performance. I used to love them and a couple of my old mates used to have them all the time especially the ones hunts county used to do, or at least they used to get them from there.

Learning a little about bats all the time! It really is fascinating all the intricacies and differences! anything that makes a bat last longer but doesn't really affect the performance has to be good!

Bat received today. An absolute beauty. Pauls service today has been exemplary after the delivery guy has tried to change the cosmetic appearance slightly!!.

Really pleased with the shape and pick up. Taps up really well from the off.
Bat is in the first couple of pics in the thread. Will post more if anyone wants.

Glad you like horseman even thought he delivery guys did try there best to get through all the layers of packaging. I think it will be a good one.

The second cleft in from the left is a rare one it is weighing in at only 3-5 in its raw state and its a lovely bit of wood. Make a big bat for someone
