Is anyone else like me in that they hate bold stickering? I was down at the Newbery shop a couple of weekends ago. Out of all their bats, my favourite shape was the Krakatoa. I loved everything about it, the pick up was great, the edges and the spines were perfect. I ended up walking out with a Mjolnir. Why? Flourescent orange stickers. If it was just the grip, I would have bought it and changed the grip as soon as I got home but the stickers are utterly hideous.
My friend bought a Kudos which again was lovely and the actual design of the stickers was lovely, but the colour wasn't exactly to my taste.
I saw a Kookaburra Menace the other day, picked it up and again it was lovely, great pick up, lovely grains and an agreeable shape. Was pretty cheap too, but having to look down and have red and yellow lights screaming back at me means I would never buy one.
Anyone else have this issue?
