For me Smith has cramp that is caused by a lack of fitness on his part not an injury therefore he shouldn't be allowed a runner because he is unfit! Ha plus De Villiers runs twice as fast as Smith even when hes fit ha!

Harsh for Smith, because Shah is a rubbish fielder and england took him off just so that they could bring on a sub

England have been pretty lucky with the toss in both their matches so far.

Yeah but Shah was off the field for around 25 overs, for God knows what reason

Jeet, are you suggesting that the toss resulted in England's victory? We clearly outplayed Sri Lanka and South Africa. Totally different side to the one against Asutralia.

I blame the kit. Blue is much better than red!

England are through Mike, so it doesn't make any difference.

Yeah no doubt the english press will be on the up now after writing us off as no hopes before the tournament began. I think Strauss was completly fair in refusing Smith a runner as greg stated unless you have got the injury during the game why should you be allowed a runner. His lack of fitness shouldnt allow him a runner from which they will benefit.

Will be interesting to see if we can carry our form forward now as firm underdogs for the tournament it has probably played into our hands with a "nothing to loose" attitude.
