Beautiful looking bats, Asad. You're right, some of the bats you pick really are 2-3 grades higher than they are marked, it is ridiculous! In terms of the grading, do you find the top of the range performs much better than the lower ranges, or is it pretty close? That 2.10 V600 does look tempting! I hope most of the good ones are gone before I go on a cricket store tour in England, otherwise I'll be carrying too much back to Scotland!

I have to say, the stickers look better on these photos than the ones in the catalogues… I'm guessing it's one of those cases where they look better in flesh!
The bats do perform better than what the sticker says as my main aim is to find bats which will perform at least 2 grades higher than what the sticker says. I am saving few bats for you as u did a favour to me by letting me sell the bat which u originally reserved

Sounds great, I'm looking forward to February now! Performance is obviously key, but how you've managed to get low grade ones looking that good is impressive. :)

Those Retro bats are lovely, I bet they're going to fly off the shelves! I'm not a fan of heartwood, (prefer none) but the V5 which is a third heartwood looks stunning!

Totally agree mate, always seems to have some stunning bats lower down the grades as well. That V5 with heartwood does look amazing. Quite interested in it myself, be interested to see the weight and price. Personally like a bit of heartwood as long as its even along the blade.

Quite a few members have emailed me asking for the weights of the the retro bats in the photos
Both V5 are 2.9
V12 are 2.7, 2.9 , 2.9
V6 are 2.9, 2.9 and 2.10

Performance is guaranteed on these bats

they look lovely,

Mark Waugh Slazenger V800 was the first bat i ever purchased when i was about 15, Handed it off to my cousin when he first started playing and havent had a slazenger since. 1 of these lovely retros would be a nice way to re-introduce myself i think.
