Tell me about it though mate, working in an office is terrible. Always someone's birthday and they do the cake trip. It's no good. I enjoyed a delightful white chocolate cookie today with the 3pm coffee...wasn't even hungry!
I love working in an office! Was someones birthday today so burger, lattice fries and a pint at lunch time, then a slab of fruit cake and a cup of coffee at 2.30, no wonder I have the physique of a finely tuned athlete!

I know its a tough job but someone has to do it- I will be staying up and working some of it.
Getting paid to watch cricket really does suck sometimes ;-)

Now that the last ball of the first day has been bowled, what tactics worked? (If anyone managed it....)

Stuck it out till 3.15, small 30 min nap during lunch. Then up at 6 to see the last hour.

Glad days 3/4/5 will be over a weekend!

Went to bed at 10, woke up at 5 to watch it. Missed every wicket apart from Johnson and was in the shower for Siddle's. Poor from me.

Who is staying up tonight to watch the record breaking England run chase?

My plan is to watch the boxing, have a coffee and some sugary sweets. Then maybe get my bats out and sort out which I want to get rid of...

You might want to get the mallet to them or bounce a ball to remind yourself of the responsiveness, I'm sure nobody would mind  :D

Couldnt have been a better way waiting for the cricket than watching George Groves hammering Froch and then getting robbed of victory. If you didnt see it you missed one of the fights of the year.

That was ridiculous! How can the ref stop the fight for that!? Groves didn't even go down, but Froch went down in the first round. And didn't even remember it!!

The ref grabbing Groves in a headlock smells of WWF rather than boxing, absolute fix!

As far as I can tell the Hearns just wanted an excuse for a re match next year. More monies.

I seriously doubt there would be a rematch. Froch isn't getting any younger and he will lose a second fight.
