I'm in the shop today and I've been having a play with these bats and a knock up. All I can say is wow!!!! They all surpassed expectations and even better than last year's efforts. Personally my favourite is that Harrow. I don't think I've ever seen a Harrow with 38mm edges. It truly is a freak of nature! As for the CK22 I really like the decals and think they look even better in real life. They are some of the best looking bats we've had in the shop for a long time, certainly not to be missed, the perfect Christmas present!

The one thing you notice about the Amplus is how simply incredible the pick up is. We were asked to compare it to a few more bats by a customer and it is simply the best pick up I've ever felt. So balanced and feels a good ounce lighter then the stickered weight.

As for the Original with the retro stickers, it really is a one of a kind. Looks gorgeous on the shelf and performs well too, I will be sad to see it go!

This has been a lovely surprise to come into work and get to play with these today, they are simply too good for words.  Come to the shop soon and you'll see what I mean or get them ordered now and they'll be under your tree in time for the big day!

What weight is the CK22 on the right?

It's 2.11, Jon - exactly the same weight as the H4L Hattori G1 you've just purchased!   ;) :)

Some sweet bats there Paul. What weight are the CK22's that are still available?

One is 2.10, the other is 2.11, Vincent.

Thought your Bubble would be enough! But if you order another bat by Tuesday/Wednesday, we can ship it together with the Bubble and save you about £25 on shipping...  ;)

I'd go retro low, not something you're going to see every day!!

The toe on the Original is quite a bit chunkier, Zoheb.  The extra two ounces has clearly gone there!  :) It is the same profile shape though.

They don't weigh the same.  As I said, the Original is two ounces heavier.  But will try and get some comparison shots taken tomorrow when I'm next in the shop...

Is the pickup any bottom heavy because of all the weight on the toe ?

I don't think it affects it really, Zoheb.  It's very slightly bottom heavy, but no more than the 2.8 Solution that we have.  Given the shape, the pick-up is ludicrously good!  :)

Anyway, here is that comparison shot you asked for - sorry it's taken so long to sort this!

Looking at the photo, the spine on the retro Original seems to be a little more even, which might be one of the reasons it picks up so well...

The retros middle looks like it nearly extends the whole face of the playing area :O.

Thanks a bunch for this Paul love the Low shape...i still do not understand the main reason for the price difference between both the bats.

Is the willow quality and different as well to warrant the price of solution more than the Original Low.

Yep, the Solution is nicer looking willow.  In my eyes, the Solutions are grade 1 and the Originals are grade 2, but I sometimes hear that all M&H bats are grade 1.  It's a bit of a grey area, if I'm honest.

Original retro has been SOLD, but the Solution is still available...
