Very nice range John. Out of interest, are the LE gloves design based on the Newbery GT gloves? (Look pretty similar) I bought a pair recently from SD, and although I cannot fault the protection, I did find them rather uncomfortable to wear when I put them on - it was just too tight on the top side of my hand. I'm assuming this would wear in after a few net sessions and not be so uncomfy, but would be interesting to hear how the LEs fit, as I may have just got a bad pair!
Good to see that protection is the main aim of these products is to provide high-quality protection at a good price, are these going to be part of the Ashes special deal?
they werent based on any current glove but i guess most traditional sausage style gloves are similar. i tried to design the range to be different in ways to a stock pad/glove. i could have had a stock pad/glove months and months ago with my logos on but i wanted something a little different. there is however only so much you can change on them.
I think with sausage style gloves and pre-bent fingers they can sometimes feel a little stiff and uncomfortable to certain users. i think once you start to wear them and they losen up they become a lot more comfortable to wear. split fingers/shark tooth style designs are obviously alot more flexible so give almost instant comfort/movement. i guess they are similar to pads in a way. pads are always pretty stiff until they have been worn and moulded to your legs.
the softs wont be included in the ashes offers. that is just for bats at the moment. as with all the prices quoted on here, these are forum prices and are less than what will be going on the website. i think for the price, they are excellent value for money. if your interested in a pair then let me know
