No problem, looks a lovely piece of willow, almost perfect in aesthetics. (I like 8-12 grains) I agree about the concaving, but not many 2.8 bats have 39mm edges with minimal concaving! Since I use a 2.11, concaving is not normally issue. :D Are you happy about the response and pick up though? Those are probably the two most important things, if it is pressed well, then the concaving shouldn't be too much of an issue!
Dream pick up, balance no lesser than pro's bats, response off the mallet is good but not great at the moment. Pressing seems to be good.

One of the best bats i've ever owned was con caved to buggery!
It also had 9 grains so I have to agree on the 8-12 statement (you don't want too many do you!)
One of my best bat was SS Matrix ton which was heavily concaved but went like a rocket. Regarding grains i prefer 10 to 12.

Looks decent although the finishing looks rushed.
Finishing is top notch, poor quality pics not doing the justice.

Looks lovely, clean straight grains and no heartwood.  Personally prefer the more garish green livery tho. How does it compare size wise against a different 2-8 in your collection?
This is my first CA bat in 2.8 weight, I have 5 more CA bats, all in 2.10 range and are bigger bats. considering 2.8 this is also quite decent size bat.

Beautiful bat!!

I have noticed that the asian bats with huge edges in lighter weight are usually very dry looking...the same was the case with my SS..I guessed that it could be due to low moisture content in the wood which makes it so light for the size..isnt that the case?

Have to agree with Ryan mate, finishing does look ropey at best. But to be far not many asain bats are finished to a high standard, as long as it plus well and your happy that's the main thing. Few to many stickers on CA bats for my liking though.

compared to other Asian brand bats finishing is good on this one. Agree, this is little dry as always the case with CA bats, but they perform.

That's the point mate, Asian bats are not expected to be finished perfectly, this one has a decent finish. Stickers are too many on CA even SS bats are stickered heavily.

Handles are light weight and not very strong.

Looks a good bat but I will disagree with your statement that Asian bats are not finished well.

I am not saying that Asian bats are not finished well, UK made are better finished bats.
