Toe Socks
« on: December 30, 2013, 07:52:08 PM »

Evening all

In me well spent time on Youtube I found Peter Siddle's kit bag video.
He says he uses toe socks for bowling which got me curious.

Before I go and waste more money I thought I'd ask, has anyone used toe socks before, and do they make a difference??

Thanks in advance,
Cameron

Personally I would imagine the impact Siddle puts on his feet are far greater than what you would put on yours. I think for a club cricketer these will be more of a gimmick than anything.

As was my response haha.

Gimmick or not I've found some cheap ones on eBay, might give them a go (you can never have too much unnecessary crap in your bag after all!)

I seen the you tube video with Peter Siddle and his toe socks

went out and got a pair from the internet or ebay before last season

the only trouble i find with them is the getting them on saga getting each toe in its right pocket

took a fair bit of stick off teammates for them but found once i got the hang of getting them on they keep the inbetween of your toes nice and dry

have worn them on long walks to

will be getting another pair for this season

Enjoy the toe gloves

Well I've taken the plunge and ordered 6 pairs off eBay (dirt cheap if I don't like them).

As everyone mocked the idea I won't bother lettin you know how I get on with them  ;)
