Big bag. Single space Does one exist?
« on: January 01, 2014, 06:02:45 PM »

I'm after a bag, of decent size to fit all my kit in.

I don't mind side pockets, and what not. But what I don't want is double decker things, or a top pocket and open to another pocket inside etc.

Just a big bag, with one large opening on the top. And one large pocket inside,

Must be long enough to fit bats in
Must be made of good quality thick material
Must have wheels.

Does such a bag exist?

Newbery Tour Bag.

I have one - replaced my SPS bag with it - much bigger and better in my opinion.

Not cheap through.

Yes adidas player issue tour bags :)

That's what I'm rolling for next season, stands-up when in the changing room too!

I used to have one of the GM easy load wheelies, that sounds like it might suit you. I sold it on here as I wanted to swap to a duffle with more pockets instead of just one big space but it was a really good bag.

I did put up some pics previously as people had asked about them, these are what the England players take on tour with them for all their kit.

Price wise would be £120.00 inc UK P&P as they arent found in shops so we would usually have to order them specifically for you. We have got one spare in the office though that I could send out tomorrow.

Built to last as they have a steel framework in them and as you would expect with an adidas product the quality is very high in regards to the materials/finish.

I bought one of those for the new season and am impressed so far.
Fits 2 bats, pads, Ayrtek lid, 2 pairs of gloves, my strettons and 2 pairs of boots comfortably with more room still for whites ect.

Cheers ayrtek, but unfortunately that is well out of my price range. Pretty much spot onto what I want though.

I had a gm easi load last year. Handle disentegrated, and the floor ripped on its first day out. Got a refund thankfully.
Not impressed with the build quality, so unless they've changed there supplier, won't be going gm again for a while on the bag front.

The woodworm posted isn't a bad shout.

Mate look at the Warsop platinum bag. £65 triple bat cave and just a huge main compartment on wheels. Best value large kit bag available. I can honestly say I could have fitted my kids in there and they are 7 and still had room to spare.

I'll echo the newbery tour bag. Huge bag and is all one comparent with a suitcase style handle and a normal handle; also has side compartments and pockets on the front of the bag which don't impact on the space of the main compartment....personally I think you'd love it and as for build quality it's newbery so obviously is outstanding

I have a warsop superior, it has side pockets, but just one main compartment and is plenty big enough, the platinum is truly huge. I also think B3 do one as well both at £45 ish I think

Aero Tour Stand Up - expensive but worth every penny.  Destroys every other bag I've seen or used!

Problem with the Aero bag is that it doesn't fit in the majority of car boots and god forbid if you need a lift from a friend.

BUT it is so big that we crammed our 5ft5 WK in it and locked it. Build quality was great! 10 mins and he was still in there!!
