Masuri Size
« on: January 04, 2014, 04:39:43 PM »

Right, just a quick one.
Medium size is listed as 58-61 and Large is 60-63.
I'm about a 60, which would be the better size? I'm presuming people will say Medium?

I'd say large as you're well within the size rather than near the edge of the range.

Your best bet is to try one of each on mate.

Haha, I'm actually nearer to the edge of the large range though...

Ideally would try one of each on but not sure that's possible

The bottom rather than the top, better to be able to tighten it than it not have enough room in my opinion

None of them.

Don't you know that this forum has suddenly turned against Masuri and labelled them dangerous, sub standard, Asian made helmets?

Get with the program man...Masuri will mess you up.

P.S. Go for the larger as they come with different sized padding that can be used to make the helmet fit better.

For clarification nobody has actually said that, what has been said is that with the new BSI standard changes will have to be made to the current model in order for it to pass the new BS 7928:2013 standard. Which is you look at their website masuri have done with their vision series and the introduction of the halo band and new grille to add strength to the peak/grille area.

Even as a competitor brand i think needs clearing up as rash statements like the above maybe taken out of context if viewed on a forum even if meant as a tongue in cheek comment.

Go with the large size. You can still make some adjustments using the internal padding and straps, to ensure a good fit.
