Non Professional batmakers
« on: January 04, 2014, 05:15:36 PM »

I've done plenty of woodworking in the past and i am about to embark on my journey to my first bat. Maybe i'm being too optimistic (or deluded!) but i think i can shape it in a couple of hours (Using a part made handled cleft)...What do you think...realistic?

Hmmm. I think, if you've used a draw knife before you might be okay, but I'd reckon that you might be better giving yourself the day...

im sure youll be able to sell 1 or 2 via the for sale section, but if you are going to regularly make bats id recommend you asking to join the batmakers shed where the likes of dom and ryan show us their expertise, then if you go any further consider being a forum sponsor

Yeah i see it now. Do you answer questions on your thread or is it a sales posting?

Is there a general for sale section? Looking for a few bits cheap.
