« on: January 05, 2014, 05:45:11 PM »

I've got some green marks on my pads from the bowling machine...how do I get these off without wrecking the leather?
Cheers

Rub a lemon over the marks, leave for about 60 secs and rub with a warm, damp cloth.

nail polish remover works, too.

test it first, as it is a harsh substance

performs better on non-porous surfaces though.

I once split nail polish remover onto a royal blue guitar, it turned it baby blue. Then I used more nail polish remover to get rid of the nail polish remover!!

Have also used car interior / upholstery cleaner, again tested beforehand.

Clean with a cream cleaner (tesco own brand works well) and warm water. When you've done that wipe it clean with a cloth and warm water to remove any cleaner left over then put some of that leather shoe whitener stuff you get for trainers mate  :)
