Sher Amin is Malik bat not CA. 36mm is nothing as 42mm is very common nowdays, i have a custom made from Pakistan having 46mm edges in single piece willow.

That post was from 2008, So you can imagine the bats back then were not the size that they are now.

I think the criteria should be one piece of wood, Lammies can make silly bats like the one Josh has. I doubt how much use a 7'10 bat is for training. I get the process behind netting with a heavier bat, I use a bat 3-5oz heavier in the nets, but looking at your net video the effort taken to lift the bats means you are off balance and not playing the shot correctly. It doesn't appear to be training muscle or technique correctly.

7lb cricket bat. Great for dross dibbly dob bowling. Absolute cack for anything above dead slow.

have not seen it but was told a essex 2nd team player now uses a 4 lb 2 bat in the local club league

Be interested to know who this player is?
