« on: January 09, 2014, 02:49:54 PM »

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has already got one of these. Could you post some pics and may be a review? Trying to figure out the size, features etc like bat pockets, boot pockets etc. Thanks

Here's our review:
Gray-Nicolls GN1000 Duffle Bag Review

I have seen a couple of other reviews on here recently too, the latest from wayward_hayward - the bags are incredibly popular.  Flying off the shelf - we can't get enough in! Well deserved too as it's a quality duffle...

I watched this and the GN wheelie bag review.  respectfully, sack your cameraman!  5 and 6 min pieces, very well explained, minimal footage of the actual bags!

I don't mean to slate, your reviews are very useful and excellent, but we want to see the bags.  Given that buying online, you're buying blind as very few companies release open bag images, bag reviews, for me, are gold.  I just need to see them...  :)

Just done that :), Like this a lot. Have the Shamrock duffle on the way so will see how that one compares.

Agree with the sentiment that camera work needs to be better, which is a suprise as most previous ones were good and only recently have the camera been pointed at somewhere other than the product being reviewed.

I haven't deleted any video comments of late, so not sure what happened there, but I agree, I have actually been saying the same thing to him about recent bat videos I've done.  Rest assured, it will be corrected moving forward.  Thanks for the feedback!

Yes I apologise on that paul. I went on last weekend to see if anyone had replied and there was no comments. Just been on now and my comment is there, must have been a YouTube glitch.

As pretty as Chris is. We can here his views without seeing him, we'd prefer the camera focused on the bag, seeing how it's loaded and how things come out and what have you,

I can't fault mine at the moment. Will be interesting come the summer if I can fit all the clothing and extras needed for a Saturday.

I got mine today and loaded it up with my match kit and could fit everything in but my helmet, leaving me to carry that externally which isn't ideal.

I am considering cutting out the bottom of the top pocket to make the internal space bigger. That top pocket really is pointless as the bat handles make it an odd shape.

Also, with the bag fully kitted out the side pockets become useless

What helmet do you have mate? My Masuri or my Ayrtek fit in the top pocket. The bat handles make it a squeeze but it all fits, even with my keeping gear in the main compartment.

Masuri, I'll give it another go tomorrow, it is a very good duffle though, love the way I can put the bats in the sleeves in their padded bat covers and also the way it stands up is brilliant
