What bags do wicketkeepers have?
« on: January 10, 2014, 12:53:42 PM »

Couldn't decided whether to put this in wicket keeping or other gear but only really applies to keepers so put it here, admin please move if you feel the need.

As per subject, what bag do the keepers out there use?
With the extra kit that we have to carry I tend to find that there isn't a great deal of choice for us keepers. I currently have an Ayrtek stand up which has been good in terms of size but the helmet compartment has ripped so I need to look at other options.

Can you keepers recommend anything?

I have a Cicada bag which is huge and more than enough room to fit everything in including at some points 2 pairs of WK pads and 2 pairs of WK gloves

I use the HitsHard wheelie which is identical to the pod pro. Fits all batting kit? Keeping kit, whites and helmet with bat cave underneath.

I used to have a massive gray nics bag, but what I found was the more space you have the more you carry.

I fit all my kit in a Salix duffle, then have a holdall for towel and clothes for after game.

I didn't think that bat cave would be big enough for you Chris!

GN1000 Wheelie bag. (My 2014 bag)

Slazenger V1200. (my 2013 bag, has been brilliant for me, but I am Gray Nics man so i am happy they have improved their bags)

I would also recommend the Aero Stand Up Tour bag, The Kookaburra Players, The Kookaburra Pro Combi and the GM Original Duplex.

Albion Duffle bag accommodates everything I need albeit very heavy

Failing that I'd use my Island XL wheelie or this massive Albion Wheelie, but both are too big for the car really and changing rooms, massive bags

Thanks for the answers guys, which of these bags fit all gear inc helmet?
I want my bag to fit all the gear I take on match days and I'd rather arrive without an injury so needs to be on wheels thus ruling out the duffles!

Will have to take a look at that one then as that's a huge amount of gear, not seen it previously
