So being injured and the thought of not playing cricket makes me do weird things! I bought my self 2 new bats in the hope of being fit again sooner than expected!
First is a newbery TT 5*
Weight: 2.7
6 grains quite straight ones I thought for a 5* so very happy with that one!
Secondly a gm octane original
Weight also 2.7
With 7 grains and this bat in my opinion just looks huge! For it's weight, just thought I'd share some pictures and see what your thought were

The Gm looks a big bat for 2.7?

I was very shocked at how light the gm picks up and the size of it for 2.7!

The octanes I've come across have the worlds smallest handles to save weight.

The 3 I've played with was like having a twig in my hand.
