Hammer Edge Scuff Sheets
« on: January 15, 2014, 02:42:30 PM »

I just posted on another thread I am inheriting a used but free Newbery Uzi player grade bat.

I havent got it yet but have been sent pics. Shan't have it for a few weeks but I can see the original hammer edge Newbery scuff sheet has ripped off at the toe. So this needs removing.

I presume I should replace it rather than use it without one? If so what scuff sheets would people recommend? Would you go for a similar replacement or scuff sheet plus tape or nothing????

Thanks

They're really top quality from Shamrock.
The pattern down the edge might not be to everyones taste though (and the sheets would be perfect without them!)

How much are these, or does it depend on quantity?

Feedback from everyone is very positive so far. I think we are the only company in europe to stock these at the moment

Dunno if this is going to make sense but if you consider a hammer edge sheet is made up of 3 pieces then these ones are 1 piece. Sheet itself is just a tad bit thicker than hammer edge would be...just so you get an idea.
