i have used these in the past mate, less than £1 a box and company are very good at delivery via City Link within a day of ordering.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50-x-S-W-LONG-TALL-GOLF-CLUB-BOXES-49-x-5-x-4-24HRS-/190913332389?pt=UK_Packaging_Materials&hash=item2c735244a5

Obviously a bit longer than a cricket bat but easy enough to cut to length if required.

I have seen a link previously posted on CBF where the boxes can be customised to the correct size ( u specify the dimensions to them), worked out around 80/90 pence a box from memory.

http://www.ascdirect.co.uk/

They have a custom box builder and will make you a box to any size/shape/spec. And order of 25 boxes 90x14x9cm works out to about 70p each, inc vat and delivery.

Will cost less in a bulk order i guess.

Same here, have used them since the start!

Much cheaper than other websites that offer a similar service, never had an issue with the quality either

If you need them quickly, worth speaking to Hunts County as they have sold them in the past
