Although it's nice having a top of the range glove for the people on this forum, I think having a low to mid range glove would be great and have potential to sell very well outside of the forum. Final design looks brilliant

Forgive me if I am wrong, but I believe Gunn and Moore still have exclusivity on d3o in cricket equipment? George at Stretton Fox has also highlighted how poron in protective equipment for cricket is actually not very good.

What benefit does pittard leather give on a keeping glove? And how/where is it used?

Kangaroo and aniline are the standard for many top gloves nowadays. Crocodile is an interesting concept though.

I liked the graffiti concept, it's now gone down a rather interesting route, best of luck :)

I have just noticed there gonna be 4 different types of leather? Why?

It's more and more just looking like a list of buzz words to gain attention.

Are you actually lekka in disguise?

What interests me is that he's under 18 so going to be very interesting to see how it goes...

he's not Lekka but seems he may well have been influenced by some sales talk and being supplied by Lekka.

£145 is a lot for a pair of gloves in England. I think the target market for these gloves wont be cash rich so a lower price point would make it a better seller ..... in my opinion

100% agree with that.

Being something targetted at the younger market, the price point is too high.
Fair play to Rowan for wanting to do something different.

a lot of people will have parents buying for them or be younger lads (18 - 25) who more than likely dont have much cash left over after buying beer.

To put the price into perspective, I'm 19 so fall into the "target audience" for these.
I applied for finance on a new (to me anyway) car yesterday at £150 a month, which, without going into detail, is what I can comfortably afford to spend and still be able to eat each month!
I'm assuming my financial situation is similar to most my age, so £150 on gloves is far too high.

Just my 2 penny's worth but could be worth considering less materials (is 4 types of leather really necessary) and a lower price for the consumer.

Just seems like some sales talk from Mr Lekka has popped up somewhere down the line.
They use Poron XRD and Xtrax.
They have also just signed a deal with d3o

With trends and mood changing like the wind your comment of lasting a very, very long time may not be a huge selling point. While people don't purchase equipment for it to break straight away are people able to resurface the palms in this same surface easily / cost effectively?

I like the concept although the design application isn't what i'd go for. Think wisely before investing your own money into this as like some of the others on here I think you are onto something but don't get stung or hung up on sales patter. Think what "You" would want from the glove and not just what the manufacturer suggests.
