Seriously how many bats did you use in games last/current season


I used 2 in games was happy with them got used to them scored more runs.


How any did you use in game.

I personally think  some of you are not giving bats a chance and  getting used to a them.

I used 4 different bats, not through choice, through really bad luck breaking them!

I have used my main bat for 2 1/2 seasons, and I think I've used 3 others in 1 game each. I've netted with a lot but my main bat is used 95% of the time for league matches

I used two bats last year, my Kahuna 1000 with its slightly lower middle and my Warsop Platinum for drier bouncier wickets as its middle is higher, and its a little lighter so makes it easier to whip through the ball on shorter deliveries. I'll have a choice of three this year with the new E41 Test in the mix too, will see how it fairs in the nets.

Just used the one bat for the last 3 seasons. Just about had it now so time for a new one

I used 14 bats last season but the same bat every Saturday but basically used a different one every Sunday or midweek game

6 different bats got some match time, 4 of those got either a full game or a few overs depending on how they felt but other 2 (Salix & BR) got rest of the games split 50-50 between them.

Just 2 for me - the trusted "blank" bat I bought from Asad at Uzi sports in Jan 2012 and a short blade Aldred Gold Sovereign I picked up from Paul as part of his 30% club deal last summer.

3 in total, shuffling them around and trying to settle on them.

last 2 3rds of the season just 2. A down south bat and an up north bat to save me carrying kit on trains.

It was 1 until I joined the forum.

Last season it was 4 but I'm back to my old method and bat specs and hopefully next season will be 1, maybe 2.

2 - one I used in every game apart from the one game which I used the other (an made 0, with a somewhat dubious LBW decision...)
before that I used the same bat for the last 2 seasons, with the exception of one game in which I used the bat which is now my regular match bat, oh and a lovely blank bat from Canners

so in the four years I have been a member on here I have only actually used 4 bats in matches, one of which was used and I made a duck.

Just the one for me. Scored near enough 1500 runs for the season with my Gray Nicholls Oblivion, by far my best season with the bat ever. Unfortunately it started to delaminate itself towards the end of the season and despite being sent back to Gray Nicholls for some TLC, I'm going to retire it so I can so my grand kids can see how awesome Grandpa was.

Two, was too busy sourcing everyone else bats out rather than get anything sorted for myself - so had to use an Old GM that I had for the first couple of games, hardly scored a run with it - changed to my now match bat and had a very fruitful season with the bat.
