W3 and Vantage websites do share a lot of similarities...

Could be co-incidence but Ian wills website and w3 website were built and are managed by the same person.

Let me stress, I've had a couple of smooth & fine dealings with Ian - but just putting the background out there for those who want to make up their own mind.

Another Ian Wills project. Does he still run Vantage?

Tom has a lot of inside knowledge of the industry and on this occasion I'd tend to believe him...

That's just me though. :D

Websites still registered to him which is a bit weird then, is he kind of letting someone else run it like vantage then?

I have heard from the horse's mouth that Ian Wills no longer owns the business.  He sold it recently.

This thread has also served a very useful purpose.  Usually in my experience, if the forum doesn't like a product / doesn't think it will sell, it ends up flying out the door.  As you guys don't like the shoes, we are certainly going to stock them now!
