Operation Drum Sander - Complete!
« on: February 06, 2014, 04:42:29 PM »

Ryan sold me an old inflatable drum sander during our last forum event. I must thank him and John from Red Ink for providing lots of help during my lengthy construction process. I needed a lot of advice on what to buy, how to set it up etc. But i have finally got there. :)

I do quite a few bat refurbs, but until now i had some fairly rudimentary tools.

I have quickly sanded down 2 bats with my new setup and i am delighted. Anyone attending our second forum event on February 8th is welcome to come upstairs and have a look at my new toy.

As per my tweet, to celebrate, until February 15th we are offering bat refurbs for only £10 (for a basic refurb: sand clean, polish, new grip and scuff sheet) for bats that are collected from us after the job is done. Add a nominal £5 for postage if you want to send the bat to us and have it sent back out.

It's a slippery slope mate - you'll be after pod shaving tools next... :D

Looks nice pal, save loads of time. Time you could use to board up the hole in the floor down to the shop!

I use them to get glue into awkward cracks :)

Does look a bit suspect though!

Next project will be a dust extractor. Currently a desk fan blows it all out the window!
